Has tested many situations on HF when 1200 only audible, but 300 still going well.

Prepare any Windows machine and run SM, it works even in Win98. Or RPI4 for QTSM.
There are no any practical sense to use old 'deaf' modems/tnc's for HF packet,
as most of them was designed to work for strong local signal.

Not hear anything maybe for last 5-10 years, but rarely check it.
At 2000's it was very active.
Just to reminder where should be 10m FM-mode packet qrg :-)
