NEWS FOR THE MIDLANDS

We start with news from clubs that have several events this week. 
Worksop Amateur Radio Society has its Young Persons' Foundation 
course plus an Advanced course tonight and next Sunday. There's a 
club night on Tuesday with participation in the UKAC. Thursday sees a

Wythall Radio Club has its club net on 145.225MHz or GB3WL tonight.

Coventry Amateur Radio Society has an open net on Monday from 8pm on 
145.375MHz and/or 7.16MHz ± QRM. On Friday there's a discussion 
evening because the talk by RSGB President John Gould, G3WKL has had

South Birmingham Radio Society is sorting out equipment on Monday for 
the Wythall rally. The regular coffee morning in the shack is on 
Tuesday from 11am. Thursday sees training classes with Dave Murphy,

Lincoln Short-Wave Club is taking part in the UK Club Contests on 
Tuesday. On Wednesday there are shack activities and G5FZ will be on

Cheltenham Amateur Radio Association has its QRS CW session on 
3540-3550 from 8pm to 9pm on Tuesday. Friday sees the start of the

Nuneaton & District Amateur Radio Club is taking part in the 2m UKAC
