NEWS FOR THE MIDLANDS
Now for news from clubs that have several events this week. Telford &
District Amateur Radio Society is conducting portable operations from
Wappenshall today using the callsign GX6ZME/p. Wednesday sees a
committee meeting and GX3ZME on the air on HF. Details from John

Worksop Amateur Radio Society continues its Advanced training course
tonight and next Sunday. On Tuesday there's a club night with
participation in the UKACs and Thursday sees a technical evening.

Wythall Radio Club is taking part in the RSGB RoLo 80m SSB contest
today, plus there's the club net from 8pm on 145.225MHz or GB3WL
tonight and next Sunday. Monday sees the 80m Club Championships CW,
and there's a Morse class plus club night on Tuesday. The regular
nibbles night in the shack is on Friday and on Saturday afternoon

Coventry Amateur Radio Society has an open net on Monday from 8pm on
145.375MHz FM and/or 7.16MHz ± QRM. The 6m open net is on Thursday
from 8pm on 50.175MHz SSB. On Friday there's a committee forum and

On Monday Gloucester Amateur Radio & Electronics Society is closed.

South Birmingham Radio Society has work in the shack on Monday. The
