Has the packet network degraded to the point that it is now just a clearing
house for Careware software (like EasyTerm)?

Has anyone downloaded even one copy of this from the packet network, while
knowing that they can get it for free from the internet in moments, without
having to get yet more software to assemble this mess?

Maybe I am wrong (according to some, I am rarely right about much of anything
concerning packet) about all this, but I just don't see that posting software
as a string of bulletins is of benifit. Most BBS systems have upload/download
areas that can be used, if this is the big deal, and it does not take up the
entire message list!

Just me two bits, before taxes. Flame away at me I guess.
