NEWS FOR THE MIDLANDS

Wythall Radio Club has its net on 145.225MHz or GB3WL from 8pm today 
and next Sunday. On Tuesday there's a Video Evening hosted by Chris, 
G7DDN. Thursday sees the 80m Club Championships CW from 8pm. The 
regular nibbles night in the shack is on Friday from 7.30pm. Next 
weekend sees participation in the RSGB May 144MHz Contest from 3pm

On Monday Coventry Amateur Radio Society has its open net from 8pm on 
145.375MHz FM and/or 7.16MHz ± QRM. Thursday sees an open net from 
8pm on 50.175MHz SSB. On Friday the G4ZMC Portable Competition takes

Gloucester Amateur Radio & Electronics Society has a DF hunt on 
Monday. The club net is on Wednesday from 7.30pm, starting on 145.500

On Monday Lincoln Short-Wave Club is holding a committee meeting 
followed by the GB5DAM special event station in memory of the The 
Dambusters Raid from 21.30 to 06.00, dependent on band conditions. 
Monday sees GB5EM at Ellis Mill, Lincoln, for Mills on the Air. On 
Tuesday it's the UK Club Contest and Wednesday sees a formal meeting. 
Thursday sees the club net on 145.375MHz from 8pm. On Saturday the
