NEWS FOR THE MIDLANDS
We start with clubs that have several events this week. Wythall Radio
Club has its net on 145.225MHz or GB3WL from 8pm today and next
Sunday. On Tuesday there's a Morse class, club meeting and committee
meeting. Friday sees the regular nibbles night in the shack. Next
Sunday is Wythall's 50th Year Carnival Special Event. Details from

Coventry Amateur Radio Society has its open net on Monday from 8pm on
145.375MHz FM and/or 7.16MHz QRM. On Thursday there's an open net
from 8pm on 50.175MHz SSB. Friday sees a barbecue and portable night

Gloucester Amateur Radio & Electronics Society has its Summer picnic
and operating evening from 6pm on Monday at the Crickley Hill car

Lincoln Short-Wave Club is taking part in the 430MHz UK Club Contest
