Hello!
Info on 2 new nodes in Los Angeles, CA:
VERDGO - This new node is located at 3000' on Verdugo Peak above Los Angeles.
It currently consists on an AEA PK-232MBX w 7.2FW, a KW TM-281A @ 65W, and a
Diamond X50 antenna. The VERDGO station has access to Los Angeles, San Diego, Ventura, Simi, SFV, Santa Barbara, etc. It will eventually be upgraded to a BPQ based node.
Use the node's "listen" feature to see what is out there.
MHeard lists only pick up the tx station ssid nothing else.
The current station info is:
VERDGO- node/gate w listen and CQ features,
VERDGO-1- mail system,
VERDGO-3- digipeater
BPQ node- KK6QMS:
