Hi ALL,
Its been over 15 years since I was on packet last.
I have always had an interest in this fantastic mode & I have been quite
shocked that there is not much info about on how to get back into it (
That I have been able to find).
Most of the software is 16 Bit and wont work on the new windows 10 system
that I have. That been said I have now taken advice from kind people to
use a Virtual Box to get up and running.
back when I was on before there was a huge node map, however I cant seem
to find any at the moment other than nodemap.g8bpq.net:81
I have also not found any EI stations as yet? Any EI's About??
I am currently getting equipment setup with a view to start a BBS here in
Donegal, Ireland to get some activity going.
So, I just wanted to say a quick hello and look forward to making many new
friends through this great system.
