Greetings, I decided for those who use axMail-FAX to put version
2.6-beta on Sourceforge. This is beta code but it seems to be much
better than 2.5 especially in sensing requested return receipts.
Before if a message was flagged with a read receipt request it would
simply tell you to use SR to generate your own. *Now* it will generate a
pretty standardized receipt. The context I took from the receipt
generated by Evolution. Comparing it to other SMTP clients, it appears
to send the same information in a very similar text format. Some SMTP
clients send the reports as file attachments but instead I figure it
best to just include it in the body of the message (which some SMTP
clients do). To show you how this works I sent myself an email from a
test account flagged with a read receipt request... to which I generated
one. Here's how it all looks:

Log in to the node, then to axMail.. list mail and read the one
I sent:

-----
This receipt is sent via axMail-FAX: Not your Elmer's Wlink!

... and that's how the read receipts display when axMail-FAX generates
them. I also did some code clean-up and other little things such as
letting the reader know the message has completed with an 'end of
message' display. I believe this parallels xNOS and FBB systems. If not,
it just looks cleaner in my opinion. This is NOT an official release so
for now you'll have to use subversion to get it. When I do my next
URONode release, I'll most likely make this an official release so the
two versions stay matched.
