NEWS FOR THE MIDLANDS

We start with news from groups with several events this week. South
Birmingham Radio Society is working in the shack today. Tuesday sees
the regular coffee morning in the shack from 11am. Thursday sees

Worksop Amateur Radio Society continues its Intermediate course
tonight and next Sunday. On Tuesday it's the UKAC plus a club night.
Thursday sees a talk on SOTA by Paul, M0PJA and Gary, M0ONI. On
Friday and Saturday the club is at the National Hamfest in Newark.

Wythall Radio Club has its net on 145.225MHz or GB3WL from 8pm today
and next Sunday. Monday sees a curry night. On Tuesday there's a
Morse class followed by three 15-minute talks by members. Friday sees

Coventry Amateur Radio Society has its open net on Monday from 8pm on
145.375MHz FM and/or 7.16MHz ± QRM. On Thursday there's an open net
from 8pm on 50.175MHz SSB and Friday sees a radio workshop evening.

Gloucester Amateur Radio & Electronics Society is having an informal
and general operating evening on Monday. Wednesday sees the club net
from 7.30pm, initially on 145.500 then moving to 145.550 or the
