NEWS FOR THE MIDLANDS
We start with news from clubs that have several events this week.
Worksop Amateur Radio Society continues its Intermediate course
tonight. On Tuesday there's a club night and the UK Activity Contest.
On Thursday there's a technical night with construction, Morse
training, radio operation and data modes. Next Friday to Sunday sees

Wythall Radio Club has its net on 145.225MHz or GB3WL from 8pm today
and next Sunday. The Intermediate course continues on Monday and on
Thursday there's a Morse class and club night. Friday sees the

Coventry Amateur Radio Society has its open net on Monday from 8pm on
145.375MHz FM and/or 7.16MHz ± QRM. On Thursday there's an open net

Gloucester Amateur Radio & Electronics Society is having a talk on
Monday on the history of hi fi by David Briggs. On Wednesday there's
the club net from, 7.30pm, initially on 145.500 then moving to
145.550MHz or the nearest clear channel. Thursday also sees a net

South Birmingham Radio Society has work in the shack on Monday.
Tuesday sees the regular coffee morning in the shack from 11am to
