Hi Walmartians,
Yea you, Walmart shoppers dressed for Halloween every day of the year. If
you're not a Walmartian, Google People of Walmart.
There were two broadcasts of War of the Worlds both recordings are available,
the original by Orson Welles on the CBS Network and a lesser known one over
WKBW 1520 AM in Buffalo, NY in 1968. In that one the Martians attacked the
Buffalo area of course and during that one it being a radio play was
frequently announced. Oh it too caused a panic, like Paul Simon sang in The
Boxer: A man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest.
Oh I agree, Citizen Kane was indeed one of the greatest American films ever
made, you don't find out what Rosebud is until near the end, it keeps them in
their seats. Another of the greatest IMO is War Of The Worlds starring Gene
Barry with a few changes in keeping with 20th Century scientific theory.
BOO!

Happy Halloween
