NEWS FOR THE MIDLANDS

Today, the 6th, South Birmingham Radio Society is visiting the West
London Radio and Electronics Show at Kempton Park. On Tuesday there's
a coffee morning in the shack from 11am to 1pm and visitors are very

Today, the 6th, Worksop Amateur Radio Society is holding week 7 of
its Intermediate course at 6pm, week 8 will be held on the 13th. On
Tuesday the club is taking part in the UK Activity Contest as part of
the club night activities. On Thursday there's a technical night with
construction, Morse training, radio operation and data modes. Then on

NEWS FOR THE NORTH OF ENGLAND

The 23cm Yorkshire amateur television repeater GB3YT located in
Mirfield, has recently completed its first year of service. The
repeater now has analogue as well as the original digital input on
1276MHz, with its output on 1316MHz digital only. Full information
