NEWS FOR THE MIDLANDS

We start with clubs that have several events this week. Wythall Radio
Club has its club net today and next Sunday from 8pm on 145.225MHz or
GB3WL. Tuesday sees a Morse class and committee meeting and on Friday
it's the regular nibbles night in the shack. Details from Chris,

Leicester Radio Society is taking part in the AFS CW contest this
afternoon, using G2AA, G5UM and G3LRS. On Monday there's a Morse
class, committee meeting and a discussion on what Santa brought. Next
Saturday sees the AFS SSB contest using the same callsigns. Contact

Coventry Amateur Radio Society has an open net on Monday from 8pm on
145.375MHz FM and/or 7.16MHz SSB ± QRM. On Tuesday it's the annual
dinner and Thursday sees an open net from 8pm on 50.175MHz SSB.

Sutton Coldfield Amateur Radio Society has a club meeting on Monday.

Tuesday there's the regular coffee morning in the shack from 11am.

Hinckley Amateur Radio and Electronics Society is taking part in the
