NEWS FOR THE MIDLANDS

We start with clubs that have several events this week. Burton 
Amateur Radio Club has a net from 10am around 145.575MHz today and 
next Sunday. On Wednesday there's a club night and Thursday sees a

Cheltenham Amateur Radio Association has a net from 8.30am today and 
next Sunday on 50.220 USB. On Tuesday there's a QRS CW net around

Wythall Radio Club has its net on 145.225MHz or GB3WL from 8pm today 
and next Sunday. On Monday there's a curry night and on Tuesday 
there's a Morse class and a talk on a practical loop antenna by Dave,

Coventry Amateur Radio Society has an open net on Monday from 8pm on 
145.375MHz FM and / or 7.16MHz SSB ± QRM. Thursday sees an open net 
from 8pm on 50.175MHz SSB and on Friday there's a net on 145.375MHz 
FM instead of the normal meeting. Next Sunday sees GB4YAD on the air 
at Husbands Bosworth Airfield for Youth Aviation Day. Contact John,

Gloucester Amateur Radio & Electronics Society is operating outdoors 
at Crickley Hill on Monday because the school is closed. Wednesday 
sees a club net starting on 145.500MHz then moving to another

Rugby ATS is taking part in the 144MHz UKAC on Monday and has the 
shack on the air for HF and VHF on Tuesday. Next Saturday there's

South Birmingham Radio Society is closed on Monday. The coffee 
morning in the shack is from 11am on Tuesday. Thursday sees training
