NEWS FOR THE MIDLANDS

We start with clubs that have several events this week. Burton 
Amateur Radio Club has a net from 10am around 145.575MHz today and 
next Sunday. On Wednesday there's a club night and Thursday sees a

Cheltenham Amateur Radio Association has a net from 8.30am today and 
next Sunday on 50.220 USB. On Tuesday there's a QRS CW net around

Wythall Radio Club has its net on 145.225MHz or GB3WL from 8pm today 
and next Sunday. Today also sees a Plug and Play day from 10am,

and next Saturday there's a plug and play day, weather permitting.

Coventry Amateur Radio Society has an open net on Monday from 8pm on 
145.375MHz FM and / or 7.16MHz SSB ± QRM. Thursday sees an open net 
from 8pm on 50.175MHz SSB and on Friday it's the second round of the 
G4ZMC portable competition at Hatton Locks. Next Saturday sees GB4CTM 
active for Museums on the Air from Coventry Transport Museum. Contact

Gloucester Amateur Radio & Electronics Society is holding a committee 
meeting and informal meeting plus general operating or finalising the

Leicester Radio Society has a Morse class and committee meeting on

South Birmingham Radio Society is sorting stock for the next rally on
