NEWS FOR THE MIDLANDS
We start with clubs that have several events this week. Burton
Amateur Radio Club has a net from 10am around 145.575MHz today and
next Sunday. On Wednesday there's a club night and Thursday sees a

Cheltenham Amateur Radio Association has a net from 8.30am today and
next Sunday on 50.220 USB. On Tuesday there's a QRS CW net around

Wythall Radio Club has its regular net at 8pm today and next Sunday

Coventry Amateur Radio Society has an open net on Monday from 8pm on
145.375MHz FM and / or 7.16MHz SSB ± QRM. Thursday sees an open net
from 8pm on 50.175MHz SSB and on Friday there's a talk on the K4ERO

Gloucester Amateur Radio & Electronics Society has a talk on Monday
by Dave Tunnicliffe on contesting for beginners. Wednesday sees the

on 145.475MHz from 7.30pm, then moving to 80m SSB. On Friday sees a
net from 7.30pm on 432.220MHz USB. Next Sunday there's a visit to
