NEWS FOR THE MIDLANDS

We start with clubs that have several events this week. Burton 
Amateur Radio Club has a net from 10am around 145.575MHz today and 
next Sunday. On Wednesday there's a club night and Thursday sees a

Cheltenham Amateur Radio Association has a net from 8.30am today and 
next Sunday on 50.220MHz USB. On Tuesday there's a QRS CW net around

Gloucester Amateur Radio & Electronics Society is visiting G1EDP at 
Coleford today. On Monday there's a DF hunt and informal evening, 
while Wednesday sees the main club net from 7.30pm on 145.475MHz FM. 
On Thursday there's a net on 145.475MHz from 7.30pm, then moving to 
80m SSB. Friday sees a net from 7.30pm on 432.220MHz USB. Contact

Wythall Radio Club is having a Plug and Play day from 10am today, 
weather permitting, plus the regular net at 8pm today and next Sunday 
on 145.225MHz or GB3WL. On Tuesday there's a Morse class and club 
night, plus a committee meeting. Friday sees the regular nibbles

Coventry Amateur Radio Society has an open net on Monday from 8pm on 
145.375MHz FM and / or 7.16MHz SSB ± QRM. Thursday sees an open net 
from 8pm on 50.175MHz SSB and Friday sees Castles on the Air from

Nunsfield House ARG has a shack night on Monday and its net on 
145.325MHz from 8pm on Thursday. Friday sees part 1 of a Raspberry Pi

South Birmingham Radio Society has work in the shack on Monday, then 
the regular coffee morning in the shack from 11am on Tuesday.

Sutton Coldfield Amateur Radio Society has a club meeting on Monday.
