NEWS FOR THE MIDLANDS

This Sunday and next Burton Amateur Radio Club has an FM net at10am 
around 145.575MHz. On Wednesday there's a club night and Thursday

This Sunday and next Cheltenham Amateur Radio Association has a Net 
at 8.30am on 50.220MHz USB. On Tuesday there's a lunch that needs to 
be booked with G3YJE and then slow Morse between 3540 and 3550kHz at

This Sunday and next Wythall Radio Club has its net on 145.225MHz or

NEWS FOR THE NORTH OF ENGLAND

We start with tuition news. South Shields & District Amateur Radio 
Club are currently offering help and tuition for those potential 
amateurs seeking their Foundation, Intermediate or Full licences. The 
club is an examination centre and is able to offer both the 
traditional paper-based and the new online examinations. Details can

NEWS FOR THE SOUTH EAST and EAST ANGLIA

We start with some licence training news. Cray Valley RS is running a 
fully taught and mentored Full licence training course this autumn. 
The course includes two evening maths primer sessions and an 
Intermediate revision day in October with the main intensive course 
beginning on the 4th of November for three consecutive Saturdays. The 
exam will be on the 25th of November. For further details please

Through the summer months, Fort Purbrook ARC meetings have become 
weekend events on Portsdown Hill, 330ft ASL, with a spacious marquee. 
Any visitors are welcome to drop in and try out the aerials and
