NEWS FOR THE MIDLANDS
We start with news from clubs that have several events this week.
Midland Amateur Radio Society is at the Junction 28 QRP Rally today.
Wednesday sees training classes and planning for the summer social.

Wythall Radio Club is at the Junction 28 Rally today and taking part
in the RSGB Backpackers contest from 10am. The club net is on
145.225MHz or GB3WL at 8pm tonight and next Sunday. The Intermediate
course continues on Monday. Tuesday sees a Morse class from 7.45 and
a talk about radio communications in WW1 by Chris, G7DDN, from 8.30.
On Thursday it's the RSGB 80m Club Championship and the regular

Coventry Amateur Radio Society has its club net on Monday from 8pm on
145.375MHz and/or 7.16MHz plus or minus QRM. Friday sees the 2nd

Gloucester Amateur Radio & Electronics Society has its third DF hunt

International Museums on the air Weekend from Ulster American Folk
Park in Omagh, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. They will be
operating with 2 stations located in separate locations within the
Museum complex on HF, VHF/UHF, Echo Link and Digital Modes. The event
