NEWS FOR THE MIDLANDS
We start with news from clubs that have several events this week.
South Kesteven Amateur Radio Society is operating GB2EGG today at
Swaton Vintage Day and World Egg Throwing Championship, alongside the
launch of the Eggsplorer-1 HAB flight. Wednesday sees a social
evening and informal meeting. Next Saturday and Sunday see activities

Sutton Coldfield Amateur Radio Society has its 6m open net on
50.135MHz from 8.30pm tonight and next Sunday. Monday sees an open
net on 145.250MHz from 7.30pm. Next Saturday and Sunday see the club

Wythall Radio Club has its club net on 145.225MHz or GB3WL at 8pm
tonight and next Sunday. The Intermediate course continues on Monday,
plus there's the regular curry night at the Monsoon. Tuesday sees a
Morse class and preparation for VHF NFD. The regular nibbles night is
in the shack from 7.30pm on Friday. There's a barbecue on Saturday as
part of the club VHF National Field Day activities, which continue on

Coventry Amateur Radio Society has its club net on Monday from 8pm on
145.375MHz and/or 7.16MHz ±QRM. Friday sees a talk about digital
