NEWS FOR THE MIDLANDS
We start with news from clubs that have several events this week.
Lincoln Short-Wave Club is taking part in VHF NFD today and the UKAC
on Tuesday. Wednesday sees shack activities and G5FZ on the air. The
club net is on Thursday on 145.325MHz from 8pm. Next Saturday sees
the regular Surgery plus G5FZ on the air, alongside a special event
station at Boultham Park and an activation of GB2CWP at East Kirkby.

Sutton Coldfield Amateur Radio Society has its 6m open net on
50.135MHz from 8.30pm tonight and next Sunday. Monday sees an open

Wythall Radio Club is taking part in VHF NFD today and has its club
net on 145.225MHz or GB3WL at 8pm. The Intermediate exam is on
Monday, alongside the 80m Club Contest CW. Tuesday sees a Morse
class, free ‘n' easy evening and the 144MHz UKAC Contest. The
regular nibbles night is in the shack from 7.30pm on Friday. Next
Sunday the club is helping to provide communications for the Wythall
Fun Run from 8am, then there's the club net on 145.225MHz or GB3WL at

Coventry Amateur Radio Society has its club net on Monday from 8pm on
145.375MHz and/or 7.16MHz ±QRM. Friday sees the start of the Castles
