NEWS FOR THE MIDLANDS

We start with clubs that have more than one event in the period.
Burton Amateur Radio Club has nets each Sunday and Thursday on
145.575MHz from 7.30pm. On this Wednesday and next there's a shack

Wythall Radio Club nets at 8pm today and on Sunday the 7th on
145.225MHz or GB3WL. Each Tuesday there's a Morse class. The next

Gloucester Amateur Radio & Electronics Society is closed on the two
Mondays. The main nets are on Wednesdays from 7.30pm on 145.475MHz
FM, and there's also a net on the Thursdays, starting on 145.475MHz
from 7.30pm, often moving to 80m SSB. Friday the 5th sees a net on

Leicester Radio Society is closed on Christmas Day. On Thursday the
28th there is a YOTA special event station from 10am to 4pm, to which
all are welcome, and there will be lots of family-friendly
activities, drinks and so on. The club is closed on New Year's Day.

Nunsfield House Amateur Radio Group is having shack nights on Friday
the 29th. The Thursdays see club nets on 145.325MHz from 8pm, whilst

South Birmingham Radio Society is closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day
