NEWS FOR THE MIDLANDS

We start with news from clubs that have several events this week. 
Wythall Radio Club has its net at 8pm today and next Sunday on 
145.225MHz or GB3WL. On Tuesday there's a Morse class then a talk on

On Monday Leicester Radio Society is holding its AGM. They also 
announce that they will commence a Foundation course on Thursday 1 
March and subsequent Thursday evenings, culminating in an exam on

Coventry Amateur Radio Society has an open net on Monday from 8pm on 
145.375MHz FM and / or 7.16MHz SSB ± QRM. Thursday sees an open net 
from 8pm on 50.175MHz SSB and on Friday it's the construction

Gloucester Amateur Radio & Electronics Society is having informal 
activities on Monday. On Thursday there's a net on 145.475MHz from 
7.30pm, often then moving to 80m SSB. Friday sees a net from 7.30pm

Nunsfield House Amateur Radio Group is having a shack night and 
committee meeting on Monday. Thursday sees the club net from 8pm on

South Birmingham Radio Society is having a discussion on Monday on 
which rallies to visit this year. Tuesday sees the regular coffee

We start with news that Keighley RAYNET Group, are giving radio 
communications for the LDWA Rombald Stride Winter Challenge, which 
takes place on the 3rd of February. It's a 23 mile challenge, 
starting and finishing in Guiseley.
