NEWS FOR THE MIDLANDS

We start with news from clubs that have several events this week. 
Burton Amateur Radio Club has a club net on 145.575MHz at 10am today 
and next Sunday. On Wednesday there's a shack night. There's another 
club net on Thursday at 7.30pm 145.575MHz. Details from Mike Lewis,

Today, Rugby ATS meets from 2 to 4pm for hut maintenance and 
management. On Tuesday they are taking part in the 2m UK Activity 
Contest as well as CW practice and training, radio operation and 
projects. On Saturday the HF & VHF shack is on the air and they will 
look at practical construction of simple filters, stubs,

Today and next Sunday Wythall Radio Club has its net on 145.225MHz or

On Monday Coventry Amateur Radio Society has an open net at 8pm on 
145.375MHz FM and or 7.16MHz ± QRM SSB. The Thursday open net is at

On Monday Gloucester Amateur Radio & Electronics Society has a talk 
on Satellites as Digital Repeaters by Dave, G4BCA. The main 2m FM net 
is on 145.475MHz at 7.30pm on Wednesday. The Thursday net starts on 
145.475MHz FM at 7.30pm then normally moves onto 80m SSB. On there's

On Monday, Nunsfield House Amateur Radio Group is having a Shack

South Birmingham Radio Society has a coffee morning in the shack from 
11am on Tuesday, visitors are welcome. Thursday sees training classes

NEWS FOR THE NORTH OF ENGLAND

We start with news that Humber Fortress DX ARC is planning a 
Foundation course, starting on Monday the 26th of February at 7pm and 
continuing for 6 weeks. It will take place at Cottingham Road Baptist
