NEWS FOR THE MIDLANDS
We start with news from clubs that have several events this week.
Sutton Coldfield Amateur Radio Society has its 6m open net on
50.135MHz from 8.30pm tonight and next Sunday. Monday sees an open
net on 145.250MHz from 7.30pm. Next Sunday GB4MOA will be put on the
air from 10am for the World War 1 and Victorian day at Whittington

Wythall Radio Club is taking part in the RSGB 80m RoPoCo CW contest
and the RSGB 432MHz Low Power contest today, plus there's the club
net at 8pm tonight on 145.225MHz or GB3WL. On Tuesday there's the
regular Morse class plus the 144MHz UKAC contest and preparations for
Wythall Carnival. The nibbles night in the shack is from 7.30pm on

Coventry Amateur Radio Society has its club net on Monday from 8pm on
145.375MHz and/or 7.16MHz ±QRM. On Friday there's an open evening.
Next Sunday sees activities for the Fillongley Agricultural Show at

Gloucester Amateur Radio & Electronics Society is running a club net
on Monday on 145.550MHz because the school meeting room is closed.
The main club net is on Wednesday from 7.30pm, starting on
145.550MHz, and there's another net on Thursday on 145.550MHz, also

RAF Waddington Amateur Radio Club has its net on Monday from 8pm on
