NEWS FOR THE MIDLANDS

We start with news from clubs that have several events this week. 
Burton Amateur Radio Club has its net on 145.575MHz at 10am today and 
next Sunday. On Wednesday there's a shack night and Thursday sees a 
club net on 145.575MHz from 7.30pm. Details from Mike Lewis, M0XMX on

Lincoln Short Wave Club shack is open from 9.30am today with GB2CWP 
from 10am in NAAFI. There's a nibble and natter night on Wednesday 
and Thursday sees the club net from 8pm on GB3LM. Next Saturday the 
shack is open from 9.30am with new licensee mentoring, and next

RAF Waddington Amateur Radio Club is operating special event station 
GB6BK today from RAF Binbrook. The club net is on Monday from 8pm on 
145.325MHz and on Friday there's a club night. Saturday sees work

 Welland Valley Amateur Radio Society starts operating its special 
event station GB2FWW at Main Street Great Bowden today, continuing 
for 28 days. Monday sees the club net from 8pm, starting on

Wythall Radio Club has its net on 145.225MHz or GB3WL from 8pm today 
and next Sunday. On Tuesday there's a Morse class followed by a free

Coventry Amateur Radio Society has an open net on Monday from 8pm on 
145.375MHz FM and or 7.16MHz ± QRM SSB. Thursday sees an open net 
from 8pm on 50.175MHz SSB. There is no meeting on Friday. Contact

Gloucester Amateur Radio & Electronics Society is operating from 
Crickley and having a picnic on Monday. Wednesday sees the main net 
from 7.30pm on 145.475MHz and on Thursday there's a net from 7.30pm 
on 145.475MHz that usually moves to 80m SSB. On Friday there's a net

Leicester Radio Society is closed on Monday and continues its

Nunsfield House ARG is having a shack night on Monday. Thursday sees
