NEWS FOR THE MIDLANDS

We start with news from clubs that have several events this week. 
Burton Amateur Radio Club has its net on 145.575MHz at 10am today and 
next Sunday. On Wednesday there's a shack night and Thursday sees a 
club net on 145.575MHz from 7.30pm. Details from Mike Lewis, M0XMX on

Rugby ATS has a meeting of the hut maintenance and management 
committee today, then taking part in the 144MHz UKAC on Tuesday, 
alongside projects, CW practice and training. Next Saturday sees the 
shack on the air plus a session constructing a 40m Pixie transceiver.

Wythall Radio Club has its net on 145.225MHz or GB3WL from 8pm today 
and next Sunday. On Tuesday there's a Morse class followed by a club

Coventry Amateur Radio Society has an open net on Monday from 8pm on 
145.375MHz FM and or 7.16MHz ± QRM SSB. Thursday sees an open net

Nunsfield House ARG is having a shack night on Monday. Thursday sees 
the club net on 145.325MHz from 8pm. On Friday there's a club night

RAF Waddington Amateur Radio Club has its net on Monday from 8pm on 
145.325MHz and on Friday there's a club night. Saturday sees a Pubs

South Birmingham Radio Society is sorting equipment for Field Day on 
Monday. The regular coffee morning in the shack is from 11am on

Salop Amateur Radio Society has its club CW net on Tuesday from

Lincoln Short Wave Club shack is watching the RSGB HF & VHF 
propagation video on Wednesday. Thursday sees the club net from 8pm 
on 145.375MHz. Next Saturday the shack is open from 9.30am with new 
licensee mentoring, and next Sunday sees a Mills on the Air special

Telford & District Amateur Radio Society is spending Wednesday 
portable on the field or a debrief on Marconi & GB50TEL, depending on
