NEWS FOR THE MIDLANDS

We start with news from clubs that have several events this week. 
Burton Amateur Radio Club has an open net today and next Sunday from 
10am on 145.575MHz. On Wednesday there's a club night and Thursday 
sees an open net on 145.575MHz from 8pm. Contact Rob McCracken,

Lincoln Short Wave Club is taking part in VHF NFD today. Wednesday is 
a ten-minute talks night and on Thursday it's the net on 145.375MHz 
from 8pm. Saturday sees attendance at Boultham Summer Fair from 9am 
plus licensee mentoring and open shack from 9.30am. For more

RAF Waddington Amateur Radio Club has its net on Monday from 8pm on

Salop Amateur Radio Society is taking part in VHF NFD today at their 
Long Mountain site. On Tuesday there's a club CW net from 4.30pm on

 Nunsfield House Amateur Radio Group has a shack night on Monday.

South Birmingham Radio Society is sorting gear for contests on

NEWS FOR NORTHERN IRELAND

Today, a crew of six from Bushvalley Amateur Radio club, MN0GKL, will 
be leaving Carrickfergus harbour bound for the Maiden Islands and one 
of the lighthouses. The islands are 13 miles off the north coast of 
Northern Ireland, WAB D41 and IOTA EU-122. The club will be operating 
on HF/VHF & UHF bands. The exact time and island are tide dependant 
but looks to be late afternoon. Please keep an eye on all social 
platforms as they will be publishing live information. This will 
hopefully also be a WW Flaura and Fauna Activation.

Dundee Amateur Radio Club is taking part in VHF NFD today. Tuesday,
