NEWS FOR THE MIDLANDS

We start with clubs that have several events this week. Rugby ATS is 
running the RATS Rally today at Princethorpe. On Tuesday it's the 
1296MHz UKAC, alongside radio operation and projects. Next Saturday 
sees a post-mortem for the rally. Details from Steve, G8LYB, on

South Birmingham Radio Society is at the Rugby ATS Radio Rally today. 
Monday sees a sorting-out of equipment for the Telford rally. The 
regular coffee morning in the shack is at 11am on Tuesday. Thursday

Welland Valley Amateur Radio Society is at the Rugby Rally today with 
a club table. Monday sees a club night and construction evening

Wythall Radio Club 9am is visiting the Rugby Rally today. The club 
net is on 145.225MHz at 8pm tonight and next Sunday. On Tuesday 
there's a Morse class at 7.45 and a free ‘n' easy and on the air 
evening from 8.30pm. The regular nibbles night is in the shack from

Coventry Amateur Radio Society has its club net at 8pm on Monday on 
145.375MHz and also, this week only, on Friday. Next Sunday it's the 
Party in the Park with GB4PIA, for People in Action, at The Miners

Lincoln Short-Wave Club is holding a committee meeting on Monday and 
taking part in the 1296MHz UKCC on Tuesday. Wednesday sees a formal 
meeting. The simplex net is on Thursday on 145.375MHz from 8pm. Next 
Saturday there's the usual mentoring and surgery and next Sunday sees

Bromsgrove & District Amateur Radio Club continues its Intermediate
