We start with clubs that have several events this week. Burton 
Amateur Radio Club has an open net from 10am on 145.575MHz today and 
next Sunday. Wednesday sees an open club night and on Thursday

As many local amateurs will know, there has been a resurgence in all 
things amateur radio in the Scottish Borders and Carlisle area. In 
response to calls for a get-together, a brainstorming session is to 
be held at Houghton Village Hall, Carlisle on Tuesday the 23rd of 
October from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. The meeting is being hosted by Colin, 
G6LSO, Frank, M6LPH, and George, M3BSF. All amateurs are welcome to
