NEWS FOR THE MIDLANDS

We start with news from clubs that have several events this week. 
Leicester Radio Society continues operating its Lest We Forget 
special event station GB2LWF throughout November to commemorate 100 
years since the end of World War 1. On Monday there's a table top 
sale and bring and buy from 7.30pm. Thursday sees the Foundation

Gloucester Amateur Radio & Electronics Society has a talk on Monday 
about diversions on Lundy by Brian, G4CIB. There's a club net on

7.30pm on 145.475MHz FM that usually moves to 80m SSB. Friday sees a

The Radio Officers Association Amateur Radio Society continues 
operating its special event station GB100WWI at South Foreland 
Lighthouse to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the ending of the 
First World War. The station will be operated by a team of ex-Marine 
and Coast Station Radio Officers, using CW only, on all available 
amateur bands subject to prevailing propagation conditions. QSLs will 
be via eQSL and Logbook of The World only. More information from
