NEWS FOR THE MIDLANDS

We start with clubs that have several events this week. Burton 
Amateur Radio Club has an open net from 10am on 145.575MHz today and 
next Sunday. Wednesday sees an open club night and on Thursday 
there's a net on 145.575MHz from 8pm. Details from Rob, G6EIH, on

Wythall Radio Club has its net from 8pm on 145.225MHz or GB3WL today 
and next Sunday. Tuesday sees a Morse class followed by a club night

Coventry Amateur Radio Society has nets on Monday from 8pm on 
145.375MHz FM and 7.175MHz SSB 8pm. Wednesday sees a DMR net on talk

Gloucester Amateur Radio & Electronics Society is having informal

NEWS FOR NORTHERN IRELAND

Keeping the flag flying for Worked All Britain in the region, Paul, 
MI1AIB, will be operating as GB8WAB for the month of February from 
his home square of C62, as one of the many Golden Anniversary award 
stations that will be running throughout the UK during 2019. Other 
Anniversary stations and callsigns will also be active in the region 
again during March, details of which will come out nearer the time, 
but keep an eye on www.worked-all-britain.org.uk as well as the usual 
regional social media outlets for further information.

On Monday Mid Ulster Amateur Radio Club has its registration evening 
for the Intermediate training. Cost is GBP 70 for 10 weeks classroom 
study starting on Wednesday, 2019, or GBP 55 for 5 weeks' home study.
