NEWS FOR THE MIDLANDS
We start with clubs that have more than one event this week. Burton
Amateur Radio Club has a net on 145.575MHz from 10am today and next
Sunday. There's an open club night on Wednesday, and Thursday sees an

Wythall Radio Club has its net today and next Sunday from 8pm on
GB3WL or 145.225MHz. Tuesday sees a Morse class and free & easy plus
workshop evening. On Wednesday there's a talk and demonstration with

Coventry Amateur Radio Society has nets on Monday on 145.375MHz FM
and 7.175MHz SSB, both at 8pm. Wednesday sees a DMR net on Talk Group

Gloucester Amateur Radio & Electronics Society has informal
activities on Monday. On Wednesday there's a club net from 7.30pm on

Leicester Radio Society announces that it will be running a
Foundation course on Wednesday evenings from the 5th of February,
culminating in the exam on the 25th. Please book your place as soon
as possible. This Monday sees a Morse class from 7pm followed by a
chat about the new construction projects. Thursday is a drop-in chat
& cuppa day, then Friday sees an open net from 7.30pm on 145.325MHz.

NEWS FOR THE NORTH OF ENGLAND
We start with announcement by Bury Radio Society that they will be
running training courses for all three licence levels in 2020. The
Foundation course starts in January, the Intermediate in March and
the Full course commences in July. All courses will take place at a
