Not understand why you decide to use mic/sprk connectors?!
Its worst way to operate digital modes - need to check levels every time,
check to off MIC-compressor or mic gain, vox etc...
FT-1000MP rig have a lot of special ACC connectors on back side for our purpose.
Look for PKT or DVS2 jacks, also for "patch jacks" - there are at least three ways
to connect modems to radio by the right way.
