This week I started re-arranging the shack. Moved the node computer to
the basement and added an HF radio back on it so we have our HF port back!
Not much else happening with me.

packet that the

VA7RBP Rick : Our weather has really warmed up, currently 84F, sunny, too hot to go for a bike ride today.
VA7RBP Rick : Last week I started riding the bike again and I'm once again trying to do 10 miles daily.
VA7RBP Rick : Last Tuesday we had to drive to Kelowna, 8 hrs there and back, to do 15 minutes of paperwork
VA7RBP Rick : with the bank there to close out Arlene's Brother's account.
VA7RBP Rick : Hopefully that's the last of it. Wednesday was recovery from the long drive.

VA7RBP Rick : The rest of the week I worked on wiring up the new solar charge controller and inverter in the shack,
VA7RBP Rick : with the capability of taking the whole thing down off the wall and mounting it in the car for field day
operation.
VA7RBP Rick : We still haven't decided what/where we are going for filed day this year.

Last week our weather got pretty warm (for us) - forced to install my window A/C - it immediately
cooled off after that and I've even had to run the heat for a bit the last couple of mornings.
What we need here is rain - my yard is starting to turn brown.

my office upstairs so I could be close and take care of the wife when she was ill -
working on moving it back downstairs - i do a little every day - but it seems like
I might never be done!!

KF5TVG Bob : Discovered there are weather radiosondes (balloons) that are released twice daily
KF5TVG Bob : a few miles from here (Nations Weather Service, Norman, OK).
KF5TVG Bob : I'm trying to get some software loadedd to decode the signals, and then may try
KF5TVG Bob : to chase one and recover it. They are airborne about 3 hours before they hit

KF5TVG Bob : the ground. The winds have been light the last 2 ays, so they go up about 120k feet and
KF5TVG Bob : land about 30 miles from here. I'll let you know if I ever chase one. See sondehub.org
