In an attempt to get to the bottom of what happened here, and
move this in a productive direction, I spent some time looking
at my station and what it saw regarding the flood of duplicate
messages. Here's what I've seen so far.
1) A message was accidentally marked as a personal message rather
than a bulletin, yet contained a bulletin address @WW
2) Stations configured with a WW path for personal messages would
forward the message on, leading to some route loops
3) Stations were not rejecting duplicate messages based on BID,
leading messages to loop through stations and multiply

That was based on my observations, if others have additional details
I'd be interested in hearing. PM me or we can move this into a less
broad bull destination.

So far, I've posted a question on this in the bpq groups.io board for
discussion. I've also removed WW routes from any personal HR config
on my station for now. Is there a valid use case for WW route configs
for personal messages and directed bulls?

Thanks and 73,
Brent WG0A
