FYI, interesting article in the current Air&Space magazine about the extent
of debris and trash in orbit. It is a real trash heap out there.

It's my belief that ISS sits in a decaying orbit on purpose so other debris
is limited. They constantly have to keep pushing up their orbit to stay in
space and not fall back to earth.

Hi Andrew,

Curious... Where was this monitored? If I tell gpredict to go back to
13:59 UTC today (about 3.5 hrs ago), the ISS appears to be over the
middle of the Atlantic Ocean, headed for the U.K. If you were
monitoring in Australia, that's not possible.

What did I do wrong?

Just awaiting a power supply

Are there any birds that send PSK reliably I can look out for ?

Maybe someone has a list of favourite satellites that are always on ?

I think uo-11 was always a player

I have

NOAA birds
ISS
PSAT
FM birds , do they have beacons ?

I have mac doppler hooked up to an icom 910 now

This does doppler corrections

Got software defined radios as well

Looking to set my system running and seeing if I can snag some signals in an
automated setup

After some frequencies u guys frequent

Cheers

Andrew,

I think maybe you need to take a break from the internet for a while. You
could also stop and think before hitting that send button. Ask yourself
questions like "am I adding any value to the conversation?". Only you can
prevent a whole group of people from having to hit the delete button.
