The Automatic Packet Reporting System (APRS) network across Central America remained stable over the last 7 days. Activity is p
rimarily driven by centralized iGates, mountainous backbone digipeaters, and automated Weather Stations (WX). VHF tracking on 1
44.390 MHz (standard North American frequency used in Guatemala, El Salvador, and Costa Rica) and 144.930 MHz (Panama's local n
ational standard), alongside LoRa APRS (433.775 / 434.855 MHz), provided the bulk of the regional telemetry. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

## 1. Country-by-Country Operational Activity## 🇵🇦 Panama (Highly Active)
Panama continues to boast the highest relative packet density in the region, split between traditional VHF and a thriving exper
imental LoRa APRS ecosystem.

* Core Infrastructure: HP1CDW-3 (Cerro Ancón Digipeater) and HP2NIC-10 (Altos del Country iGate) maintained near-continuous up
time, capturing metropolitan transit data. HP2DFA-19 acted as a critical solar-powered digipeater bridge from Rio Rita to the i

* Telemetry & WX: Continuous data injection from automated weather setups including HP1CDW-13 (Metro Park) and HP1CDW-10 (Costa

Guatemalaâ€Ös network relies heavily on high-altitude digipeaters to clear the country's volcanic and mountainous topography.

ountry.

Observer Program (CWOP). Remote gateways like TG8ARP-6 successfully routed automated Python-based APRS scripts via internet-lin
ked servers.

## 🇨🇷 Costa Rica (Stable)
Costa Ricaâ€Ös network is highly organized around emergency communications preparedness and high-altitude infrastructure.

evation locations host core automated nodes that capture mobile tracking frames from the Central Valley.
