The largely silent, but long-time active users of 44net are concerned.
Messages like the one below show what many are thinking, eventhough they
dare not utter it on an ARDC mailing list for fear of being banned like
I was this past June. This writer ends his message like Marvel's Stan Lee
would in the comics that I grew up with.

"We're definitely on the same page regarding the ARDC. I recalled seeing a few
posts that hinted at your concerns. When the ARDC first appeared a few years
ago, I Googled "ROSEY" and to my shock and surprise discovered she's buds with
AOC. That's when I knew 'we' were in for rough ride with the LEFTIES! And,
that seems to be the case. Until now, I thought I was the Long Ranger regarding
my concerns, but it's gratifying to know I'm not alone. Like you, I definitely
think their going for another bite-of-the-apple in the $millons. How else can
they support the bloated salaried staff they've put in place. Frankly, I think
Brian Kanter would turn over in his grave if he saw what's become of the HOBBY.
Call it what you want, it's been turned into a business enterprise. The Ham
Radio side of the business seems to be an after thought, but a necessary cash
cow. I find their ticket system, violation and verification polices, as well
as the rules of conduct stifling.

Enough said...."
