I run a number of Raspberry Pi's here.
Some time ago I backed up a working system using the DD command.
Having made some changes ( minor ) to my working system I decided
to manually make the same changes to my backup.
On a spare Pi I booted up the backup, and then my troubles began.
I could not log on from the keyboard using the correct user and password.
Next move - shutdown and started backup in system Pi.
Log in via ssh using correct user and password worked OK.
Question :
Why is user and password accepted OK via SSH and not from keyboard ?
Regards,
Ian..
