Joint USAF/NOAA Solar and Geophysical Activity Summary
SGAS Number 323 Issued at 0245Z on 19 Nov 2015
This report is compiled from data received at SWO on 18 Nov
A. Energetic Events
Begin Max End Rgn Loc Xray Op 245MHz 10cm Sweep
None
B. Proton Events: None.
C. Geomagnetic Activity Summary: The geomagnetic field was at quiet
to active levels for most of the day, before reaching minor storm
conditions during the 19/2100-19/2400 synoptic period. A geomagnetic
Sudden Impulse was detected at the Wingst magnetometer at
approximately 18/2010 UTC. A 70
nT deviation from the quiet day
curve was observed, likely signaling the arrival of the anticipated
16 Nov CME at Earth.
D. Stratwarm: Not Available
