Joint USAF/NOAA Solar and Geophysical Activity Summary
SGAS Number 022 Issued at 0245Z on 22 Jan 2016
This report is compiled from data received at SWO on 21 Jan
A. Energetic Events

None
B. Proton Events: None.
C. Geomagnetic Activity Summary: The geomagnetic field reached an
isolated period of major storm levels during the transition from the
14 Jan CME into the CH HSS proper early in the day. Conditions
nearly reached minor storm levels again during the last period of
the day in response to a prolonged
period of southward Bz
orientation of the interplanetary magnetic field (IMF).
