Hello friends
There are a couple of changes to the Shortwave Radiogram transmission schedule.
Last Monday morning during the "red-eye" show at 0800-0830 UTC, I heard the usual Shortwave Radiogram on 5850 kHz, but there was some other content on 7780 kHz. Eventually I found out that WRMI has added the Voice of Indonesia English service to its schedule, 0800-0900 UTC on 7780.
It's good that Voice of Indonesia can reach new audiences. But I will miss 7780, because it was a reliable pipeline at Australia and New Zealand. Jeff White at WRMI has offered Shortwave Radiogram 7780 UTC Friday 0530-0600 UTC. That might start tonight/tomorrow, so if you are near a radio at 0530 UTC , please tune in. (It might reach Europe, among other places.)
The schedule below reflects the transmission changes.
Videos of last weekend's Shortwave Radiogram (program 281) are provided by Darau Blė in Lithuania and Scott in Ontario (both Friday 1300 UTC). The audio archive is maintained by Mark in the UK. Analysis is prepared by Roger in Germany.
Here is the lineup for Shortwave Radiogram, program 282, 9-13 December 2022, in MFSK modes as noted:
1:36 MFSK32: Program preview
2:44 MFSK32: Britain could be Chardonnay champions by 2050
7:09 MFSK64: Switch to farming led to domestication of cats*
12:50 MFSK64: This week's images*
28:42 MFSK32: Closing announcements
