I understand your concern about adopting more advanced technologies in radio transmissions. It's true that there are still older MS-DOS-based BBSs operating via RF, and as we advance in transmission techniques and use more modern programs, some are left out of this evolution.
In Argentina, as you mentioned, we have fewer than 10 BBSs, and unfortunately, there aren't many active users. The few sysops remaining are doing their best to maintain the connection and activity on these platforms. In this context, sometimes it's preferable to maintain a connection with older software than to have no connection at all.
I hope we can continue finding ways to improve our transmissions and keep this ham radio community alive in Argentina.
