I have noticed a few WP entries being broadcast (they really should be sent as
private messages only to your forwarding partners) that have errors in them.
This indicates a registration entry on the originating bbs that was wrong to
begin with. For example, there are quite a few that show a call and SSID in
the field that should be the hierarchical address for the host bbs. Another
shows four numbers where a call should be. As sysops, our job is to also keep
the data clean because it will get propagated around the world. Bad data will
make bad connections and routing. Sysops are more than super users. We should
know how things work so that it is smooth and functional.
