Hi Jeff and all,
Hopefully the discussion won't drift away from the subject of hardware, but
just worth mentioning, unfortunately about the only digital mode that isn't
sound card driven these days is Pactor. Stating the obvious for the sake of
many operators' pet gripe, it uses a very expensive proprietary TNC. This
unfortunately leaves many without the use of Pactor and wishing this so
called Amateur mode wasn't so professional aka money driven.
