...Heavy rain possible from parts of the Ohio Valley to the Middle/Lower
Mississippi Valley...

...Heavy rain possible over parts of the Lower Rio Grande Valley...

Upper-level energy over the Lower Mississippi Valley will merge with
energy moving out of the Southern Rockies and roughly with energy moving
across the Great Lakes by early Monday morning. The energy along with
tropical moisture pooling near the system will produce showers and
thunderstorms with heavy rain at times over the Lower Mississippi Valley
through Monday morning.

Meanwhile, a quasi-stationary front extending from parts of the Northeast
to the Ohio Valley to the Southern Plains/Lower Mississippi Valley will
also have tropical moisture pooling along the boundary. Showers and
thunderstorms will develop along and near the front from the Northeast to
the Ohio Valley to the Southern Plains/Lower Mississippi Valley through
Tuesday. In addition, another upper-level low over Florida will move into
the interior Southeast by Monday evening into Tuesday. The energy will
aid in producing showers and thunderstorms over the Southeast with a
maximum in areal coverage during the late afternoon into the late evening
hours through Tuesday.

Elsewhere, monsoonal moisture will weaken over the Southern/Central
Rockies with showers and thunderstorms tapering off by Sunday evening.
Also, a region of broad upper-level energy over the Pacific Northwest will
move eastward to the Northern Plains/Upper Mississippi Valley by Monday
evening. The energy will produce scattered showers and thunderstorms over
parts of the Northern High Plains/Northern Plains overnight Sunday moving
into the Upper Mississippi Valley/Northern Plains by Monday evening.
