Hi all head bangers,

1937, the first electric guitar was indeed the turning point in music,
"made the later rise of rock and roll possible" is quite the understatement.
In the latter part of the 1960s Heavy Metal made it's apperance so far so
good. Later it branched out and various forms of headache... head banger
music reared their ugly heads. While there are some excellent Metal groups
out there and I have their music, for the most part I'll stick with Geezer
Rock, Led Zeppelin, Iron Butterfly and the likes.

Now to what I really gad in mind, Adolph Rickenbacher lent his name to
Rickenbacker Guitars and they're still going strong. One of their most famous
is the Rickenbacker 12 string with its unique sound that took the lead on
tracks by The Byrds such as the Dylan cover Turn Turn Turn many of you are
familiar with. A very talented mate from grade school taught himself to play
many instruments heard that 12 string and immediately did an "I gotta git me
one of THESE!" (Will Smith) and did.

"New Jersey, the most American of all states. It has everything from
wilderness to the Mafia. All the great things and all the worst,
like Route 22."
