Hi Motorheads, not the Deep Purple album fans,
Not only was the AMC pacer one of the worst cars in history, AMC was the
worst manufacturer in history, an embarrassment by calling itself American. I
had the great misfortune of owning a Hornet hatchback I spent more time
repairing than driving. Thank goodness it was back in the day when most
routine maintanence and repairs could be done by anyone with ordinary
mechanical ability, today's things they have the gall to call cars are money
pits from the get go.
Pop culture history be damned, if it weren't for movies, TV and music telling
every moron that came down the pike "I've GOT to get one of these" 11M CB
would still be a viable radio service that it was before the CB boom ruined
it. Perhaps for me it all worked out for the better, back in my CB daze I
learned a lot about radio by experimenting that helped me pass my Amateur
Radio exam with a 100% score in 15 minutes. I got a chuckle when the head
examiner jokingly looked at my arm for a cheat sheet.

wilderness to the Mafia. All the great things and all the worst,
like Route 22."
